Direct Routing allows you to choose a telecom provider to route phone calls in and out of Teams. Basically allowing you to use Teams to make and receive calls.
+ What is required Teams direct routing?
To use Microsoft Teams direct routing, you'll have a Microsoft 365 subscription with a Microsoft Enterprise E1, E3 or E5 license and ‘phone system’ addon.
A phone number is required to make or receive phone calls. You can also use Teams compatible handsets to receive or make phone calls, as an alternative to the software.
